Judy Michie and Sharon Michie
Judy is often referred to as the 'Grande Dame of Rentals,' having started in the vacation rental business on Sanibel and Captiva Islands in 1983. Judy moved to SW Florida in 1958, raised a family of 5 children and has been active in helping transform Lee County into a top tourism destination. Judy loves pink flamingos, is active in her church, ABWA, the Sanibel-Captiva Chamber of Commerce, the Tourist Development Council, the Shrimp Festival and she loves parties! Judy lives in a 1946 beach cottage on Fort Myers Beach.
Judy's daughter, Sharon, followed in her footsteps and joined her in the vacation rental business in 1993. As a born-and-bred native, Sharon lives on Sanibel Island and enjoys all-things Sanibel, Captiva and Florida. She is an outdoor enthusiast, is active in the community and with the Cornell Club of SW Florida. She has a degree from Cornell University's School of Hospitality Management and is a Licensed Real Estate Broker.
In December 1997, Sharon and Judy founded Cottages to Castles - the first boutique rental agency on the islands, specializing unique properties and personalized attention to owners and guests alike.
Cottages to Castles is the only Islander-owned agency dedicated solely to Vacation Rentals.
