 Come Build A Sand-Snowman on
Sanibel Island or Captiva Island!

Tennis Court - Racquets and balls are provided for your use,
as well as a basketball hoop!

The Gulf of Mexico Beach is accessible
via the private Sandhurst access. Our beaches are world-famous
for the variety of shells that the tides wash in.  Captiva Sunrises and
Sunsets are unforgettable - watch the dolphins swim by, sandpipers
and plovers run along, and Ospreys and American Eagles circle overhead.

The poolside barbecue features a built-in cabinet for
a keg-cooler, DCS Grill, built-in bottle opener and a bell
for ringing when you get a great tip!  The Famous
"Ring on the String" game is right next to the bar and
provides hours of entertainment for young and old alike. Be
the first in your group to get the Ring on the String on the Hook on the wall!

There are numerous places to kick back and relax...
head for some shade at the poolside bar & grill,
head for an umbrella, or take cover in the
covered cabana!

The poolside cabana also features an outdoor shower with
hot and cold water - perfect to clean up after a day at the beach or out
on the water in a boat.

Can you find the Sandhurst bunny, "Flopsy" in this picture??

Sandhurst has seen more than a few unusual "guests" over the years!
This little fella blew in (literally) during a tropical storm
(alligators cannot survive on Captiva, there is no fresh water), so our friendly
Fish & Wildlife officers had to relocate him to Sanibel's Wildlife Refuge.
