Blind Pass B205 is a spacious, coastal-inspired 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath townhouse condominium that overlooks the lush tropical grounds of one of Sanibel's most family-friendly compounds. A short walk through the famous Bowman's Beach State Park leads you to one of the most breathtaking beaches on all of Sanibel and Captiva.

Blind Pass Condominiums is at the tranquil west end of Sanibel. Blind Pass features an outdoor heated pool, 2 tennis courts, a pickleball court (paddles provided), a clubhouse with wi-fi, grills, canoes, and covered parking. It's a beautiful, tropical location that will make you feel that you are worlds away from the hustle-bustle of mainland life.

A short stroll through Bowman's Beach Park leads you to the most pristine and expansive stretch of beach on Sanibel. Shelling, fishing, swimming and sunbathing abound! Unit B205 is 450 yards / 8 minute walk to the beach.

Blind Pass is spacious, light and bright, and the value is tremendous. Blind Pass B-205 is a 2-story townhouse. A short walk up a flight of stairs to the 2nd floor brings you to B-205.The main level features the kitchen, living & dining room, a half-bath, laundry area and screened lanai, while the master and guest bedroom and baths are located upstairs on the 3rd floor.

The fully-equipped open-concept kitchen features granite counter tops, all stainless steel appliances, cabinetry with roll-out trays and ample storage. All cooking utensils are provided for you. You just need to bring groceries! A pass-througgranite bar from the kitchen opens up to the dining room, which seats 6 comfortably.

The living room features carpeted floors throughout, a 42-inch flat-panel tv, queen sleeper sofa, along with terrific views of the pool, lush grounds and grilling area from the tiled screened lanai.

Upstairs, the Coastal inspired master bedroom features a King bed with views of the tropical grounds and pool area. It also has beautiful distressed plank-tiled floors, flat panel tv and Hunter Douglas one-touch blinds that can be opened and closed from the top or bottom easily with one hand.

There is also a screened lanai overlooking the grounds, with seating for 2.

The en-suite bath is luxurious. It features a walk-in Carerra marble shower with a handheld showerhead as well as a rainshower head. a 48-inch single vanity, and cabinetry galore. Adjacent to the master bath is a custom walk-in closet, with ample storage.

The guest bedroom is a treat. It features a Queen built-in Murphy bed, that can be easily opened and closed. Bookcases on either side can be moved with one hand to close off the bed when it is not in use. This room is perfect for yoga, crafting or as a home office space. There is a full closet, tv, dresser, and two windows with Hunter Douglas one-touch blinds that can be raised or lowered from the top or bottom with one hand. There is also a partial view of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.

The guest bathroom features a walk-in shower, single vanity and ample storage. Guests will enjoy their own space, and the light, bright modern decor. Just beautiful!

The world-renowned J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge entrance is 3 miles from Blind Pass. Take a drive or bike ride along Wildlife Drive, and as you leave the park, you will find yourself across from Blind Pass Condominiums.

Captiva Island is 2 miles away, with its historic Chapel by the Sea, restaurants and shops waiting for you to enjoy and explore. The heart of Sanibel Island restaurants and shops are 5 miles away, so you can enjoy the best of both islands.

Beautiful Condo

The condo was very nice and accurate to the pictures.

There were items which needed to be labeled (which I suspect the rental company will do) to find easier, but it had all we needed for our stay.

My only real complaint is that the mattresses were too firm for me, but if you love a firm mattress, you will be in heaven.

Really Great Condo!

We’ve been to Blind Pass previously and the location is perfect.

This condo was the best we’ve ever stayed in. Comfortable bed, great bathrooms, super kitchen, great TVs, great A/C, no complaints.

The stairs might be a challenge for super seniors, however, as they seem pretty steep.

The condo had everything we needed. It was a great location to the pool. The beach access was perfect.

The communication with the rental company was as expected. They worked with us to accommodate a later check out as well.

We would definitely rent here and with this rental company again.

Stayed for 7 days with the whole family. Condo was very homey and spacious.

Conveniently located within walking distance to the beach.

Enjoyed sitting on the balconies (yes there are two!) and being able to see the pool from it.

Condo was nicely furnished and decorated, felt like home.

Also the folks at Cottages and Castles were very friendly and helpful.

We will definitely be back!

Great location, view of the pool, close to beach

Our family of four really enjoyed the condo with its beautifully renovated bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen.

The appliances were all new, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need on a vacation. The washer/dryer combo was a life-saver.

Enjoyed sitting out on the two porches, and took in sunsets on the beach (about an 8-min. walk). We swam every day and played tennis. The outdoor grills were clean and new-ish.

It’s a quiet condo complex — great for families and people who just want to chill. It’s about a 12 min. drive to Sanibel shops on Periwinkle. We bought our groceries and morning coffee at Bailey’s. It’s about equally as long drive to Captiva for dining options (not much shopping out there).

Minor improvement would be to replace the downstair carpet with the tile they have upstairs.

We would recommend this condo to anyone who asked.

Blind Pass B205 – Wonderful, Peaceful Stay

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay

We’ve been to Sanibel many times, and this was our first time staying farther out of town. We found it to be peaceful and relaxing, and we didn’t mind having to bike or drive a bit farther to get to the grocery store, etc. The location also created an ideal 8-9 mile bike riding loop through Ding Darling.

As far as the condo complex, it was also very nice. We loved the pool and the colorful lights at night. The free kayaks were a nice plus, and it was easy to check out the paddles and life jackets from the office. They even had a life jacket for our 2-year-old, which was a relief. We only got out one time in the kayaks. I wish we would have made time to go at least twice.

The walk to the beach is not bad at all, although it may be inconvenient if you are potty training a little one or have a frequent need to use the bathroom. It depends on your family need and preferences. One plus is that the beach is pretty private because of its location.

The condo is very nice as well. The kitchen was fully stocked with a wide selection of plates, glasses, etc. We were also pleasantly surprised to find the downstairs closet fully stocked for the beach – beach chairs, an umbrella, sand toys, boogie boards, noodles and a cart to get it all to the beach and back.

Both upstairs bathrooms seemed to be very new. I loved the storage in the master bath, even if just for a week. The only downside (for us) was that both bathrooms have showers and no tub. Our little one is used to taking baths, and we had to struggle with her to get her to take showers.

My only request would be for more comfortable chairs on the lanai. I like to sit out and read, and I could only sit in the chairs for a short period of time. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely book the unit again and/or stay in the complex again.

One thing worth noting: Not all units have screened lanais. Some have no outdoor space. If that’s important to you, keep that in mind when selecting a unit in this complex.
