The Breezy Oasis home is located in Butterknife Estates, which is one of Sanibel's premier near-beach communities.

Butterknife is a gated community of 34 single-family homes located directly across West Gulf Drive from the beach. Half-acre over-sized lots and views of the preserve dominate the landscape at Butterknife.

Butterknife draws its name from the unique shape of the community and its main thoroughfare, Starfish Lane. The area that is known Butterknife had a prior use during WWII, when it served as a landing strip!

With three bedrooms and three baths (all en-suite), and your own screened and heated pool, you and your guests will enjoy privacy both inside and outside this 2880 square foot home. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with native plants, flowering trees and shrubs.

Breezy Oasis has a beautiful tiled courtyard and fountain, where you can entertain guests or enjoy the colors of an early morning sunrise or an evening sunset. A staircase leads to the inside of the home, with its spacious floor-to-ceiling windows, sliding doors and soaring ceilings.

The living room offers generous seating for 8. It is the heart of this home, with the kitchen and dining areas on the east side, the bedrooms on the west side, the pool to the north side and the courtyard and front garden to the south.

With its blend of Morroccan-inspired rugs and accessories that coordinate with 2 oversized Coastal White sofas, the living room features warm honey plank-tile flooring throughout, floor to ceiling radius windows with Plantation shutters for privacy, as well as sliding glass doors that open to the adjoining veranda that overlooks the pool.

Just between the living room and kitchen is the dining area, which seats 8. A sideboard has everything you need for entertaining, including table linens, napkins, serving dishes, and more.

The fully-equipped kitchen is a gourmand's dream. With its stainless appliances, subway tile, honed granite countertops, and cabinets offering drawers and storage galore, it is a delight for anyone that enjoys spending time honing their culinary skills. The island features a combo gas range/oven, and seating for 3, while the surrounding kitchen area has a second wall-oven, a microwave, farmhouse sink, generous counter space, a dishwasher and French door refrigerator.

The family room is adjacent to the kitchen, and it features a leather overstuffed sofa, side chair, flat panel tv and entertainment center. A small dining table for 4 is a perfect spot to watch an important live sporting event or check the daily beach/weather forecast while you enjoy a quick meal when it is too warm to be out on the veranda.

A large screened veranda overlooks the gas heated pool and hot tub, with unspoiled conservation land just beyond it. The veranda has its own outdoor seating and dining area, which is perfect for your everyday living during the cooler winter months on Sanibel.

The carpeted Master retreat features a 4-poster bed, a pool view, a 4-piece en-suite bath with double closets, his and her granite top vanities, a soaking tub and travertine shower.

The Queen bedroom is also carpeted and has an en-suite 3-piece bath with a subway-tiled, seamless glass door shower, honed granite top vanity and closets. It offers a garden view of the front of the property.

The Twin bedroom is located between the Master and Queen bedrooms. It features 2 oversized pocket doors that open to the living area. With 2 twin beds, a reading nook, and a 3-piece bath identical to the Queen bedroom, it's a cozy room that is ideal for younger family members that require less privacy. If you require bedding for infants or toddlers, there are 2 cribs available for your use, with Sealy mattresses.

Downstairs on the ground level is where the garage bays are located, as well as the laundry room.

The deeded beach access is a short walk away, between Casa Ybel Resort and Island Beach Club Condomiiums.

Butterknife Estates offers a community tennis court and pool, along with a deeded beach access.

Your doggie is welcome at this property with prior approval of the Owner and Cottages to Castles. Payment of a non-refundable pet fee is required. The non-refundable fee is based on the length of your stay and the number of doggies in residence and/or visiting the property. Weight limit and breed restrictions may be applicable, based on the type of property rented.

Failure to disclose a doggie in residence and/or visiting the property for non-overnight stays can result in eviction and forfeiture of all prepaid funds.
