Great condo, great location, great island — Loggerhead Cay #173 is a lovely 2-bedroom, 2-bath Gulf-view condominium on Sanibel’s beloved Loggerhead Cay grounds. Located on the third floor, it offers lovely views of the Gulf of Mexico, the grand lawn, and the heated outdoor pool.

Resort-Style Amenities: Loggerhead Cay features a heated outdoor pool, tennis courts, shuffleboard, and a BBQ area, with elevators available throughout the buildings for easy access.

Living Spaces: The living room offers a mid-century modern sofa, loveseat, side chair, and ottoman, plus a TV, DVD player, and Gulf views. The dining room seats 6 between the kitchen and living area. The fully-equipped, eat-in kitchen seats 4 and includes everything you need to prepare a meal, with a washer and dryer close by.

Bedrooms: The primary bedroom features a King bed, private bath, screened balcony access, and a flat-screen TV. The guest bedroom [CONFIRM bed configuration] includes a TV, DVD player, and a 3-piece bath.

Amazing Views!

"This condo has amazing views. You can sit at the dining room table and see the beach/ocean (and see from the couches and master). The couches and chair are super comfortable. The condo was extremely clean when we arrived. The kitchen has everything you need to cook anything! There was a cooler in the closet to take to the beach. On the screened in lanai there were four beach chairs and a really nice umbrella. Someone had also left behind some noodles for us to enjoy! We left behind a boogie board for others to enjoy. ???? The bathrooms are updated and nice. Having a washer and dryer is so nice! We got a little hot sleeping at night as there are no ceiling fans in the condo. The thermostat is set at 72 and you cannot go below that temp. We found it comfortable except for a few nights. A ceiling fan would have made this a non-issue. We loved not having to worry about a key and the parking spot is directly across from the stairs–very convenient. There is also an elevator if needed. It takes minutes to walk to the gorgeous beach. The pool is also close and nice. The grounds are well taken care of and beautiful. Overall we would highly recommend this condo. Sharon was wonderful and we appreciated the newspapers, coupons, and all the welcome info. Make sure you go eat at Doc Ford’s and eat the Yucatan shrimp–it’s AMAZING and Gramma Dot’s (super close ) for their famous coconut shrimp. We cannot wait to go back!

"Cottages to Castles does a great job communicating everything you’ll need for your stay. The pics online are accurate. What you see is what you get. Great views from the lanai. Easy access to a beautiful beach. It’s great for swimming and shelling. This is a perfect location. The place was very clean but could use a freshening. Other than that we had a great experience. Would stay at the same place again.

"Great condo in the perfect location on Sanibel. Easy to get everywhere close to the beach. The condo had everything we needed and the online materials ahead of time or spot on. We had one communication with the property manager and they were incredibly responsive. "We have stayed at Loggerhead Cay before and really like the overall property and its location. This particular condo is well situated between the pool and the beach, with very lovely views. Linens, furniture, beach accessories all very good. We had one maintenance issue with the dishwasher and the rental agency sent a person within hours. They also went above and beyond to help coordinate a grocery delivery in advance so there would be food in the condo when we arrived, which was on Christmas Day when much of the island and all of the stores are (appropriately) closed. We are so thankful for our chance to close out our year, in the beautiful paradise that is Sanibel!

"Overall it was a great time and decent place. Location was awesome and a quite neighborhood with pleasant guests/tenants. There were also some beach toys, chairs, etc although you could tell they were well used. The bathrooms and kitchen were nice and mostly updated. Overall good experience. My kids had a blast.

"Family friendly condo with good size pool (deep end 8’) and steps away from beach. Easy to enjoy the beach and pool with family. There is assigned parking which is a great perk after any outing from dining or excursions.

"The condo is in a great location. It is a relatively small complex right on the beach and has a pool. We had a great ocean view from the master and living room and balcony. The kitchen was fully stocked with all necessities. Furniture is comfortable and decor is tasteful.
