Lion's Paw Cottage is located on a small cul-de-sac at the east end of the island, near the Sanibel Marina and Lighthouse shops. You'll be living like a local in no time on this darling little street with seasonal and year-round neighbors that will make you feel right at home.
Our clear dark skies are ideal for stargazing, and you can sit in the front yard or stroll over to the bayside beach and watch SpaceX rocket launches year round.
Lion's Paw Cottage has been lovingly renovated and updated and is still enjoyed by its owners, as it is a longtime family home. With 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a heated pool and single car garage, it is just right for a couple or small family to spend a month or longer.
The house is light and bright, and features tile floors throughout, LED lighting, central air conditioning, wifi, laundry and a heated pool.
The floor plan is circular in nature, with an easy flow from room to room. You can stroll from the light and bright living room, through the dining area or kitchen, to the sunroom and pool, garage or bedrooms and baths.
The living room seats 6 comfortably, and is terrific spot to cozy up with any of the variety of books that are in the entertainment center.
The dining area is adjacent to the living room, kitchen, sun room and bedrooms, and you can enjoy meals at the table or enjoy a family game night or puzzling while watching a program on the living room tv or chatting with friends or family in the sunroom.
The fully-equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, plenty of dishes and glassware for entertaining indoors or out, as well as a full pantry and a desk/writing area.
The sunroom has windows (with custom privacy shades) that run the length of the house, with views overlooking the back yard, dock and pool. An oversized comfy sofa, a bistro table for 2 and the bar area are perfect spots to enjoy a morning cup of coffee, a spot of breakfast or lunch, or evening cocktails as you watch the colors of sunset blanket the sky.
The primary bedroom features a King bed, Smart TV, a generous walk-in closet and en-suite bath with a single vanity, toilet and step-down shower.
The guest bedroom features a Queen bed, bureau and closet, and it is adjacent to the 3 piece guest bathroom, which features a dual custom vanity and combination tub/shower.
Start or end your day with a swim in the outdoor heated pool, or enjoy an afternoon siesta in the deck chairs. The pool is serviced weekly, so you only have to remember to bring your sunscreen!
The laundry is located in the single-car garage, and you can park your car or store your fishing gear, golf clubs and more there.
Beach chairs are provided, as well as basic cleaning supplies.

This home is zoned by the City of Sanibel for minimum 28-night rental. No Exceptions.
Lion's Paw Cottage is on a cul-de-sac in a pet-friendly neighborhood. Your doggie may be welcome, with prior approval of the Owner and Cottages to Castles. Payment of a non-refundable pet fee is required. The non-refundable fee is based on the length of your stay and the number of doggies in residence and/or visiting the property. Weight limit and breed restrictions may be applicable.
