Enjoy beautiful views of San Carlos Bay from this 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath 2-story condo at Mariner Pointe. Located near the entrance to Sanibel, Mariner Point has 101 residences tucked into a beautiful 7-acre setting facing San Carlos Bay and the Sanibel Causeway.
Amenities include two heated swimming pools, two all-weather tennis courts, pickleball, a private fishing pier (where, incidentally, a 150-pound tarpon was landed several years ago), ten barbecue grills spread over six locations, private canal-side dockage for up to 30 boats, shuffleboard, assigned parking and an easy-in/out kayak launch pad with nearby storage area.
Bring your fishing rods, a boat, kayaks or bike! Mariner Pointe features a private fishing pier, boat dockage and kayak launch and racks (a small, additional fee is applicable), and you can paddle or boat across the canal to the Sanibel Marina and the always wonderful Gramma Dot's restaurant.
Unit 322 is on the 2nd floor, and it features 2 levels with fantastic pool, garden, bay and canal views. Like staying fit? There are no elevators at Mariner Pointe, so you'll keep fit by walking the stairs leading to and inside the unit.
When you enter Mariner Pointe 322, you'll find the kitchen, living room, dining room, laundry and powder room are located on the main level, which is tiled throughout. The kitchen is fully-equipped with everything you would need for your stay, whether you are visiting for a week, a month, or longer.
The living room and dining area comfortably seat 6, and they have lovely views of the pool and bay. The farmhouse dining table can be expanded to seat 8 comfortably.
In addition to central a/c and heat, complimentary wifi is provided, along with 3 flat panel TVs, a DVD player, and stereo The adjacent sunroom looks out beyond the pool to the bay waters and causeway islands, and it has retractable sliding doors for those cool winter days when fresh air is welcome.
There are two bedrooms located upstairs, and they are adjoined by a common area sunroom that overlooks the pool and bay. Each bedroom is carpeted, and has their own bathroom.
The Primary bedroom has a King bed, flat panel TV, and a private en-suite bathroom that has a walk-in shower and custom closet system. The bedroom is open to the tiled lanai, which has a loveseat, leather swivel recliner, and a small refrigerator so you don't need to make a trip downstairs in the night for a cold bottle of water. The lanai has beautiful views of the pool, bay, canal and grounds.
The adjacent guest bedroom offers a Queen bed and television, along with a 3-piece bathroom with a shower. For privacy, there are sliding doors separating the bedroom from the lanai.
Please Note: The fishing license that Mariner Pointe has for residents and guests is only valid ON the fishing pier. A guest could be fined if fishing on the boardwalk or in the canal.
Recreational Vehicles (campers), Boat Trailers, Mopeds, Motor Scooters, Motorcycles, Roller Blades & Skateboards are prohibited at Mariner Pointe.
As of 8/2020:
For individuals renting a condominium at Mariner Pointe, kayaks must be stored on the racks for $10 per week, per kayak. A boat slip up to 40’ can also be rented, at a rate of $9.00 per foot, per week of assigned dock space, with a 1 week minimum charge.
Each boat needs 5’ for easement, so an additional 5' is added to the length of your boat when calculating the rate. The dock cannot be used/rented unless a condominium is rented as well.
An application, along with required documentation (paid guest confirmation, boat registration and insurance certificates) must be approved by the Mariner Pointe Dock Committee prior to your arrival. Kayaks are not provided.
